He spent the next 15 years working in several aspects of the feed industry including retail, manufacturing, transportation and field representative. This time was divided between manufactured feeds and brewery by-products. He worked with all species of animals but his main focus was on dairy cattle. In 1991, he moved to Ohio and worked with brewery and wet corn milling by products. Here he also worked in the pet food industry developing a business for brewers yeast products. In 2005, Tim started ATB Specialty Products, Inc. and works as a manufactures representative for several companies. Having a good relationship with Malcolm Ballard, he worked as a sales agent for Feedwork USA, Ltd during the start up years and became a partner in 2007. Tim and his wife Pamela live in Hamilton Ohio.

Malcolm Ballard

Malcolm graduated from Nottingham University in 1981. Following a brief period working in the UK Feed Industry Malcolm returned to Nottingham to complete a Masters Degree in swine nutrition and then joined a French Japanese Company in France involved with amino acids. After several years in Europe acting as the Technical Manager covering many Western and Eastern European countries Malcolm moved to USA with the same company to help promote the use of amino acids in the North American Feed Industry. Several years later, with a diverse knowledge of both the Feed Industry and customer base, branched out on his own and created The Ballard Group, Inc. Through this company Malcolm developed working a relationship with Feedworks (Pty) Ltd in Australia and they set up Feedworks USA.

Peter Williams

Peter graduated from the University of Newcastle, England in 1977. This was followed by two years on farms in the USA, two years in the Ministry of Agriculture in New Zealand and six years working around the World as a photo-journalist, concentrating on writing feature articles for livestock and farming magazines. Back in the UK he worked in UK Agribusiness companies in sales, marketing, sales training and management. In 2002 he was moved to the USA to set up the distribution of a range of feed additives. After six years experience in North America Peter started his own business, Advantec Associates, Inc. The new Company targeted successful technologies from overseas, bringing them to the United States to evaluate their potential benefits to livestock here. If offering significant cost benefits to producers in the USA Advantec would seek distribution rights. Having a close relationship with both Feedworks (Pty) Ltd, Australia and with Malcolm Ballard in the USA – both of whom had similar business plans – it was a natural extension for Peter to join with Feedworks USA Ltd. in 2007. Peter lives in Davis, California.
